New app for friends of r8Dio coming soon
We’re thrilled to announce the official signing of a trial period contract with r8Dio, bringing their listeners a new and updated app already this year.
A new app is coming to Skulborg
Time is precious for friends of r8Dio, radio directors and digital agencies. But now the wait is over. Finally. Because we’ve signed a trial period contract with r8Dio with the scope of delivering a fully updated version of the r8Dio app, designed to enhance the listening experience for both existing friends and newcomers.
R8Dio is a nationwide radio station, based in the culture and multi-house Stjernen in Skuldborg and strongly led by radio director and cultural figurehead, Klavs Bundgaard. R8Dio is the definition of talk radio and delivers podcasts and live radio that reaches all corners of our dear nation with topics that speak to everyone of us. With more than 150.000 monthly listeners and an average of 400.000 downloaded episodes monthly, r8Dio is pinned a significant leader in the Danish public service landscape.
But where did our tale begin, you're wondering? Actually, it started with an endorsement from one of our dearest clients, Andel Energi and CEO Marlene Holmgaard Friis, who recommended us in the app department of things. That’s how it often goes in the agency space, but meeting with r8Dio quickly made both parties agree on the fact that the best of the best should team up to make the best, together. Time to draw up the contact on the new app.

Contract details
In broad strokes, we’re going to deliver an updated app that will include new key features to elevate the mobile listening experience, and, importantly, be accessible for both iOS and Android users. We’re bringing in the top of class app specialists and we can promise the solution will be worthy of r8Dio’s loyal audience who are dear friends to them more than anything else.
The project is expected to be completed within the year, meaning listeners won’t have to wait too long for this enhanced radio app experience.
