UX intern – fall 2019

Our brilliant UX designers and user researchers are a huge part of our creative epicenter, and our team is missing yet another brilliant UX to push development, assist with quality assurance, user testing and overall make the digital world a better place.

The Role

As a UX intern at Adapt, you'll gain hands-on experience with a broad range of UX disciplines.

You’ll be part of planning and executing a variety of data collection tasks such as focus groups, think-aloud-test, digital user panels, and questionnaire surveys. You will assist our user research specialists in planning, facilitating and analyzing the above tasks for our many customers.

Based on collected knowledge and UX best practice, you will prepare recommendations for optimizing digital solutions, preferably combined with concrete solutions in the form of mock-ups.

In addition, you’ll work with usability by testing and quality assuring complex solutions in collaboration with our team of, UX designers, developers, project managers, digital designers, and strategists.

The internship is, as a starting point full time, but we are flexible in terms of internship reports, subjects or other school-related tasks. There is also the possibility of a student contract after completion of the internship.

You’ll be working with:

  • Quality assurance and testing of our digital solutions
  • Planning and facilitating focus groups, think-aloud tests, etc.
  • Identification of user needs and behavior based on collected data
  • Recruitment and dialogue with respondents
  • Usability
  • Mock-ups/Wireframing
  • User involvement
  • Data analysis

You, you, you

We imagine that you’re attending a relevant education eg KU, ITU, AAU or KEA – and will be working as an intern for 3-5 months in the fall of 2019.

  • You are curious about people and good at understanding social situations.
  • You can see the value of data and user involvement.
  • You are a good analyst and have the ability to keep track of the details.
  • You are well-organized and enjoy working in teams, as well as running with a task on your own.
  • It's an advantage if you already have experience in analyzing and interpreting data and presenting them in a form so everyone can understand them.

During your internship, you'll be working closely with a group of wonderful and experienced colleagues who will help you develop your skills in a planned course of work with clear goals.

The culture

We’re quite social at Adapt, and rarely a month goes by without an Adapt event of some kind. We throw big parties every year, where we invite both our clients and friends, they are well attended and always a lot of fun.

Friday bars, both planned and spur of the moment, are a common thing at Adapt, and they often entail a friendly game of table soccer or a less friendly game of Cards against Humanity.
Adapt sponsors employee planned events as well, and we’ve gone to the DHL race, to the movies and joined forces to escape a Mystery Room.

Join us, or else…!

So, what do you need to know about us? Besides the fact that we are the very frontline of digital evolution - we really are a lovely bunch. Honest. We’re also international, with 6 offices placed strategically around the world, we’ve already come far in our plotting, and you’ll be placed in our Copenhagen office. We are partners to our clients, we collaborate, we build trust, and so do you.
