Creating the best stadium experience in Scandinavia

F.C. Copenhagen is Denmark’s most successful football club in the past decades, and with the addition of the biggest Nordic wi-fi solution in Telia Parken, their stadium, they wanted to push the boundaries of their fans’ stadium experience, by going digital. 

The Purpose

F.C. Copenhagen came to us initially, because they wanted to digitize the membership cards for their fan club. This quickly evolved into a more comprehensive concept, based on a desire to improve the fan-experience at the games. We helped them develop the concept and app, that has led them to become a pioneer and Nordic leader within digitally enhanced fan-experiences. ‘VoresKBH’ was born to the sound of roaring fans. 

The Approach

We knew from the start, that the main priority was the fans, and how we could make their stadium-experience better. We built the entire app in Drupal, to ensure that the app could easily be expanded and modified after launch, which also allowed us to add several awesome features. ‘Served’ allowed fans to order refreshments from the stands, without having to stand in line, with a built in MobilePay integration. We put in the digital membership card, as well as built an integration to their news center, making the app home for everything FCK, they would need. Right in their pocket.

We wanted to take that feeling and create a special place for the fans, with daily news, behind the scenes, fast ticket purchase, and of course the digital season ticket.

The Solution

Through our collaboration with F.C. Copenhagen, we’ve created an app that has everything a football fan could ever need. Whether you’re checking for news, the starting line-up, buying an extra ticket for a friend, or you want to live-bet, it’s all in there, in a neatly designed, and easily navigable app, that’s just waiting for you to use it. There’s even live-streaming in the app as well, in case you, for some reason, are missing the game. What’s not to like?
